Annual Events

• The White Ribbon Campaign – During the entire month of April, thousands of Central New Yorkers wear a white ribbon or wristband to raise awareness about domestic and sexual violence. Wearing a white ribbon or wristband is an important statement. It means you will not commit, condone, or remain silent about domestic or sexual violence.
• Vera House Foundation “New Beginnings” Gala – “New Beginnings” is the annual gala sponsored by the Vera House Foundation Board of Trustees to benefit the programs and services of Vera House, Inc. “New Beginnings” brings together hundreds of guests to celebrate and support the agency’s mission to end domestic and sexual violence.
