Onondaga County CCR Revitalization Meeting

Building a Stronger Coordinated Community Response to IPV

Date: Friday, June 5, 2026

Time: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Location: Fingerlakes Ballroom, Marriott Downtown Syracuse

Overview

A half-day working session to revitalize Onondaga County’s Coordinated Community Response to Intimate Partner Violence.

Coordinated Community Responses (CCRs) bring together systems, service providers and community partners to create a comprehensive approach to Intimate Partner Violence. This revitalization meeting will gather stakeholders from across Onondaga County to strengthen relationships, identify gaps and begin the next phase of CCR work together.

Why CCRs Matter
CCRs are macro-level responses that coordinate how agencies, systems and community partners respond to Intimate Partner Violence. They help us align policies and practices, improve safety and accountability, and ensure survivors are supported at every point of contact.
What This Meeting Will Do
This session will introduce CCR concepts, lift up local challenges and strengths, and begin subgroup work for our broader Onondaga County CCR. Participants will hear from community speakers, build connections and help shape the path forward.

Who Should Attend

This meeting is designed for cross-sector partners who play a role in responding to Intimate Partner Violence.

We invite participation from:

  • Service providers and victim services organizations.
  • Survivors and survivor-led groups.
  • Law enforcement, district attorneys, probation and courts.
  • Social service agencies and county executives.
  • Education systems and youth-serving organizations.
  • Grassroots organizations, cultural groups and religious communities.
  • Community leaders and other partners committed to ending IPV.

This list is not exhaustive. We will shape Onondaga County’s CCR to reflect the needs, strengths and realities of our community.
