2019 White Ribbon Campaign Highlights
During March 2019, over 25,000 Central New Yorkers wore white ribbons & wristbands and displayed pledge cards to raise awareness about domestic and sexual violence.
With the support of our generous community, we had an amazing campaign - in both awareness & dollars raised!
Thank you to everyone who supported the Campaign for your commitment in helping to end domestic and sexual violence. We raised over $120,000 for Vera House programs & services! Even more important than the funds raised was the awareness created. Campaign participants pledged to never support, commit or remain silent about abuse. The White Ribbon Campaign is the world's largest movement of men and boys working to end violence against women and girls. It's a movement that promotes gender equity, healthy relationships and a new vision of masculinity.
