How can you
get involved?

Would you like to make a difference?
Your energy and compassion can make all the difference in the world
to a victim of domestic violence or sexual assault.
As a Vera House volunteer, you can translate your concern for
individuals and families in crisis into truly meaningful effort.
There are many ways to help - so many ways to touch the
countless lives shattered by violence and abuse - to help shine a light
on the path towards a safe and healthy future.

What do Vera House volunteers say about why they got involved?

“I think Vera House is a great organization, and
I want to contribute to the community.”

“I feel that I need to learn all that I can about these issues and
I have a desire to help out in the court system.”

"It gives me a gratifying feeling to know that as a volunteer advocate
I can provide support, comfort & a listening ear . . . to someone
who has experienced the ultimate violation - sexual assault.
