The reality is that we all share a dream of loving and being loved, of surrounding ourselves with people who support us. Vera House is there to pick up the pieces and help rebuild the dream for people whose lives, and dreams, have been threatened by domestic or sexual violence.

2011 "New Beginnings" Gala
Almost 500 guests joined us on the evening of Saturday, December 3rd for our 20th Annual Vera House Foundation “New Beginnings” Gala at the Oncenter. In celebration of our gala's 20th Anniversary, we recognized past Gala Honorary Chairs and Vera House Foundation Trustees. We were pleased that 10 of our past Honorary Chairs were able to attend the event, including Tarky and Marianne Lombardi, who were our very first Honorary Chairs.
Our 2011 Honorary Chairs Cynthia Morrow and John Epling were recognized for their dedication to the mission of Vera House. The “New Beginnings” Gala raised over $105,000 to support the programs and services of Vera House, Inc.
