Sister Mary Vera Recognition Award
 is presented to a member of the community who has made a significant contribution to those affected by domestic or sexual violence.

The individual recognized with this award has performed
this service in a manner consistent with the
humility, gentleness & humanitarian spirit
reflected by Sister Mary Vera.
 

We are thrilled to announce our
2008 Sister Mary Vera Recognition Award
will be presented to

Revs. Thomas & Marilyn Wolfe

for their years of commitment to Vera House and their work
in our community in helping to end domestic and sexual violence.
 

The Vera House Leadership Award
will be presented to

Gov. David A. Paterson
(invited)

for his commitment in making
domestic and sexual violence a
New York State Government policy priority.

Our 2008 Special Appreciation Awards will be presented to:
