gathered at the Liverpool Holiday Inn
for the White Ribbon Breakfast

joined us for the breakfast, where banners showcasing
their dramatic "BE A MAN" themed designs were on display.

& powerful message for the 13th annual White Ribbon Campaign.

-Syracuse University continues to broaden its support for the
Vera House Foundation White Ribbon Campaign. More than 80 guests
of the University
enjoyed the good company, delicious food
and inspiring messages at this year's breakfast, among them
(l to r):
J. K. McGrath, Jen Bevilacqua, Debbie Manobianco, Roy Baker,
Karen Broughton and Patrick McPeak.
 



-Vera House Foundation Vice-Chair Amy McHale, VH Foundation Trustee Susan Rabin and Jodi DeAugustine, VH Board of Directors President
are all smiles at the March 27th White Ribbon Breakfast!

 

    
  
-Rev. Chauncey Brown of True Vine Baptist Church
and White Ribbon Steering Committee member, offered a resounding
challenge to assembled guests - to answer every instance of disrespect
in our community with an unswerving response:
"Not here. Not now."
 



-Students & staff from Syracuse University's Center for Public
and Community Service
came out to support the campaign.

join a group of proud SU students in presenting Vera House Executive Director Randi Bregman with a check for $10,000 ! ! !
 



-Singer/Songwriter, John Wolford, offered an incredibly moving performance
of two original songs in memory of his cousin Lori Leonard, who tragically
lost her life to domestic violence, leaving behind two young sons.
CD recordings of his music are available from Vera House for $5.00
and all proceeds benefit the White Ribbon Campaign.

-Vera House Foundation trustees Carroll Clark and Charlie Beach
with his wife, Beth enjoy the breakfast along with Dunkin Donuts employees.
Carroll generously sponsored 2 tables at the breakfast, including one for
Zebra Classic Basketball Tournament players, and Dunkin Donuts
provided sites for various White Ribbon Campaign distribution events!

enjoy the breakfast with their daughters Casey & Erin.
 



-Enthusiasm glows in the smiling faces of Nottingham High School
students, pictured here with teacher Lucia Ashley & Honorary Chair
Dan Lowengard. As part of the White Ribbon High School Challenge
the city & suburban high school which sells the most ribbons & wristbands
will each win a dance party, complete with refreshments & a DJ!
