Survivors' Art
The Survivors' Art Project offers the healing gift of creativity therapy to Vera House clients. Courageous survivors of domestic and sexual violence have created extraordinary artistic images while participating in creativity workshops offered by Vera House. Exhibits of "Survivors' Art" showcasing this remarkable work have been seen throughout the Syracuse area, including displays at the Delavan Art Gallery and Everson Museum of Art, and many pieces are currently on display at the Vera House Administrative Office. Thanks to the vision and remarkable generosity of Great Northern Mall, with special thanks to Sandy Graham, you can experience a gallery wall over 100 feet long covered from end to end with over-sized prints of powerful art images and soul-stirring poetry - all created by and for survivors of domestic and sexual violence. The Exhibit is located on the wall opposite the Post Office.
Vera House is honored to offer a series of fine-art prints featuring these compelling images for sale to benefit Vera House programs and services. Each of these museum-quality digital prints is produced using 100% archival stock and pigmented inks and presented with a coordinating mat and florentine-finish metal frame.
