Are You Safe?

The following videos were filmed in American Sign Language and include voiced narration and text captioning.

These videos are some of the first in the United States to provide information on domestic and sexual violence accessible not only to Deaf, but to all. This project is supported by Grant No. 2006-FW-AX-K015 awarded by the Office on Violence Against Women, U.S. Department of Justice. The opinions, findings, conclusions, and recommendations expressed are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of the Department of Justice, Office on Violence Against Women.

We are proud to share the videos "Survivors," & "Survivors Part II" conceived and produced by Solon Quinn Studios.

"Survivors" bares the truths of Meaghan, Janice and Katie - three strong women who share their personal and inspirational journeys.  "Survivors" illustrates our essential task - to help victims and survivors of domestic and sexual violence find the parts of themselves that they lost or had to give up when forced to live in fear.

In "Survivors Part II" Tim, Dan and Lauren share their intimate and unforgettable truths, breaking their silence and finding the power within themselves to obtain freedom from their abuse and rediscover who they are.
